VSM Lite Editor – this free virtual scenery editor is an additional module of RECKEEN LITE system, complementary to LITE Production module. It has also been designed to operate as a separate program you can install on any kind of PC.
With its help, you can easily set up your own virtual studio stage design. The design of the studio is carried out using layers, with one atop another. This way you can make a composition consisting of pre-prepared graphics and layers representing signals – sources A and B (Talents) and sources C and D (Screens). When such constructed project is saved as a rec2D file, it is possible to use it as a fully functional virtual studio stage design loading it into RECKEEN LITE system.
The Still Editor module allows you to create captions, text boards and news tickers. With an easy-to-use panel, suitable components can be downloaded from external files or created – even during the production and live editing.

CISCO, one of the world’s leaders in the IT industry, has published its VNI Global IP Traffic Forecast 2015–2020, which predicts online traffic for the upcoming years.
Among the report’s key conclusions are those concerning the role of video content within the Internet:
Videos will continue to be the dominant constituent of online traffic, quadrupling their share between 2015 and 2020. In 2020, videos will make up 82% of all online traffic;

The system is complete and ready for work. However, in order to implement a virtual studio some additional elements are needed, such as green (green screen) or blue (blue screen) background with appropriate lighting system ensuring uniform illumination of the scene, and a camcorder or SLR camera with HDMI output (or camera SDI depending on the system version. See technical specification – video inputs on this page).
You will also need additional 2 or 3 monitors and the Internet connection at your disposal, if you want to broadcast a live program immediately. The user can operate the Reckeen system using a mouse and PC keyboard, or an dedicated control panel.
RECKEEN LITE enables you to connect up to four cameras with image keying function. Instead cameras you can connect any signal video source there e.g. PC , video player , laptop, smartphone, etc.
Yes, you can use VSM LITE EDITOR, which is available in the program, to modify studio’s stage design. The modified scenery has to be saved in a file with a different name so that the „source” stage design remains unchanged.
First of all, you need to check whether the stage design itself has a place dedicated for the logo. It may be possible to insert a logo as an element of a scenery, like on the floor, on the wall, or on a screen in a virtual studio.
You can always add your logo with VSM LITE editor.
Another option is to insert a logo using DSK 1 or DSK 2 function, which enables placing an object already on a program ready for editing.
It is best to apply the paint intended for this purpose, as there are such special paints. You can also use a screen or foil for this purpose.
It is possible (rear USB 3.0 ports), but we recommend that all the materials to be uploaded to your RECKEEN LITE hard drive before the production, since the playback speed / data transfer from other sources may not be sufficient.
Yes, the system automatically downloads the necessary updates if it is connected to the Internet, you don’t need to do anything.
Recommended maximum length of the usual HDMI cable is 5m. If you want to use a longer cable it must be a special active cable. For example fiber optic HDMI cables. In the case of long links, we recommend that you use the RECKEEN SDI system version. SDI cables provide connectivity at a distance of at least 100 m.

WARRANTY
For a period of one year from the original date of purchase of the product, RECKEEN equipment is guaranteed against any manufacturing defects. The original purchase receipt or invoice or other documentary evidence is required. To obtain warranty service, you must deliver the product, in either its original packaging or packaging affording an equal degree of protection . You cover all mail , delivery , transportation and insurance costs. It is your responsibility to backup any data, software or other materials you may have stored or preserved on your unit. It is likely that such data, software, or other materials will be lost or reformatted during service and RECKEEN will not be responsible for any such damage or loss.
Our warranty doesn’t cover damage caused by accidents or unauthorized modifications, installing any other software and repairs, misuse, sand, grit or water. All other claims of any nature are not covered by this warranty. This Warranty is valid only in the country of purchase. Repair or replacement as provided under this warranty is the exclusive remedy of the consumer. RECKEEN shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages for breach of any express or implied warranty on this product. except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose on this product is limited in duration to the duration of this warranty. Accessories ,such as the battery or the cable, are excluded from the warranty. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
